success in life - stories

examples of members who make most out of their membership of Nemato Change a Life

Destiny Nelson

Destiny is a tough cookie, she runs circles around many of our boys and is strong in her sports: rowing, netball and handball. She is also strong in life. Out of school for two years and out of home due to family problems, she didn't give up. She started coaching netball and handball.

When an opportunity came along she jumped for it: an study Early Childhood Development course at Rhodes University. In her second year of study she started our own Nemato Change a Life Pre-School, which is probably the only pre-school in our townships that takes education very seriously. She makes it fun at the same time: YouTube videos, sing and dance, even computer lessons, jumping on the trampoline and much more.

We hope many members will follow her career path to offer our young children strong early development and a much better chance to become successful in life.
