Port Elizabeth Competition (1 April)

We went to a small fencing competition in Port Elizabeth. It was nice, we even did laser shooting (swords and guns!), and afterwards we had fun at the Boardwalk, thanks to a donation by Jessica.

Sello Maduma in Nemato (11-15 January)

Olympic fencer and internationally qualified fencing coach Sello Maduma was in Port Alfred for five days to coach our fencers and coaches. It was a great opportunity to improve our fencing knowledge and skills and to inspire our fencers to aim for high results. A couple of the sessions were at Ingubo, a sister youth organisation that also has a fencing club.
